We are dedicated to providing excellent customer service and technology solutions that will help homes and small businesses thrive in an ever changing technological world.

At East Techs IT, our primary passion is service to Jesus Christ. It is our desire to serve Him by serving the East Texas community through innovative technology solutions and support. Our goal is to provide East Texans with increased markets via greater cyber visibility, streamline processes, and efficient business solutions that create greater prosperity for our clients.
Meet the Team
Rick Haggard
Owner/Technology Director
Rick started East Techs IT, LLC after spending the last 25 years working in the technology field for multiple global financial institutions in the Houston area. After years of working in the big city, God called him to start his own business in service to Him and to the local communities of East Texas. In obedience to God, he took a leap of faith and moved his family to Shelbyville to begin the work God appointed him to do. Rick holds a Bachelors degree in Computer Information Systems and a Masters degree in Information Systems. He has experience in business development, business solutions, project management, business analysis, and computer support.
Rebecca Haggard
Web Designer/Creative Design
Rebecca assisted her husband, Rick, in starting East Techs IT. She is a former mathematics instructor, and now devotes her time to the family business and part-time Christian ministry. At East Techs IT, Rebecca works in website design & administration, marketing, and digital communications. She is the website administrator and digital marketing designer for her local church, founder and author of the Christian blog Gleanings & Gatherings and is engaged in ministry work in her local community. Rebecca holds a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from the University of Houston – Clear Lake and a Master’s degree in Theology from Liberty University.
